Who you are buying from

By placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not order.

What we sell

We sell Rabbit Fuel, a caffeinated soft drink made with yerba mate and guaraná, and merchandise such as The Lookout plush. We also offer The Burrow, a monthly membership described in its own section below.

Product photographs are as accurate as we can make them. Colours can look different from one screen to another, and small variations in textile and print are normal and are not defects.

Rabbit Fuel: who should not drink it

Rabbit Fuel contains caffeine from natural sources. It is not recommended for children, pregnant or breastfeeding people, or anyone sensitive to caffeine. It is a drink, not a medicine or a supplement, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent anything. If you have a medical condition, ask a health professional before drinking it.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in US dollars. Taxes and duties, where they apply, are calculated at checkout or charged on delivery, depending on the destination.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will tell you and refund you in full.

We try hard to keep prices accurate. If an item is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than fulfil it, and we will tell you why.

The Burrow: membership terms

The Burrow is a monthly membership that renews automatically until you cancel it, at the price of the plan you chose.

We bill on a single monthly cut-off, not on your own join date. Members are charged at the start of each month and the boxes go out together in the first week, so that everyone receives that month's card at roughly the same time. If you join mid-month, you are charged once when you join — that payment covers your first box, which ships with the next cut-off — and from then on you are charged at the start of each month. You are never charged twice for the same box, and we tell you your first box date when you subscribe.

• You can pause once a year, and we hold your card. That month you are not charged and no box goes out, but your copy of that month's card is reserved and travels with the next one. Your collection does not break. One pause per year, not unlimited.
• You can cancel at any time from MY BURROW in your account, or by writing to hello@snackrabbit.co. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
• A box that has already been prepared or shipped for the current period is not refunded by cancelling, but you may return it under our returns policy.
• The annual plan ($319 Curious, $539 Digger) is a single payment that covers twelve monthly boxes — you pay for eleven and the twelfth is on us. It renews once a year, and we email you before it does, with time to cancel. Cancelling an annual plan stops the renewal: the boxes of the year you already paid for keep arriving until that year ends.
• If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you by email before it affects you, with enough notice to cancel first.
• Collectible cards, stickers and limited items included with a membership are part of that month's box. Once a month has passed, that month's card is not reprinted and cannot be bought separately.

Delivery, returns and refunds

Delivery times, costs and the free-shipping threshold of $60 are set out in ourshipping policy. Your right to return items and how refunds work are set out in our returns and refunds policy. Both pages form part of these terms.

Your account

You need an account to order and to use The Burrow. Accounts are handled by Clerk, our authentication provider; we never see your password. Keep your login details to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.

We may suspend or close an account that is used for fraud, abuse, or to resell our products without our agreement.

What belongs to us

The SnackRabbit name, the rabbit mark, the artwork on the cards, the photographs and the texts on this site belong to us. You may share and post them as a customer; you may not use them to sell anything, to make merchandise, or to suggest that we endorse something we do not.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for delivering what you bought, in the condition described. We are not responsible for losses that we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for things outside our control such as strikes, extreme weather, or a carrier losing a parcel after we handed it over — although in that last case we will still resolve it with you, as described in our shipping policy.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law gives you as a consumer and that cannot be signed away.

Governing law

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
